Buda Castle: Public Art and Sculptures

Buda Castle – Sculptures and Artwork

Walking around on my last day in Budapest, within the Buda Castle District, there are dozens of outdoor bronze statues and sculptures. I never did find out the name of this one, but it appears to be Saint/King Matthias based on the other artworks in the general area.

I need to go back next time around and get more information on the image’s I’ve taken, but until then, they do speak for themselves – with or without the historical information. The entire Buda Castle area has a number of interesting nooks and crannies I want to get back and explore.

This image was taken with a d610 and post processing was done in Lightroom and On1 Photo.
