Akaroa New Zealand

Akaroa NZ – France meets Kiwis

I’ve just returned from a business trip through Sydney, Australia; Auckland, New Zealand; and Christchurch, New Zealand for the past few weeks. After work on our last day in the Christchurch area we took a drive down around route 75 south with no particular destination in mind, just driving through some gorgeous country …and we wound up in Akaroa.

It was pretty mind blowing to find this small French town on the South Island of New Zealand… I wish we had more time to explore the area … but the food was amazing perfect crêpes and cafe au lait … exactly what I needed and was craving. Only Beignets from Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans would have been better 🙂

I took a lot of photos, which I am still going through and culling – but these are some that I worked on while traveling back to Pennsylvania … 30+ hours of flying … anything to keep occupied.
