Yesterday I went for a drive to a few local spots Yesterday I went for a drive to a few local spots I like to shoot at, including Hickory Run State Park, which has a long history in my #family back to the 1800s when Issac Gould on my father's side of the family owned a number of lumber mills in the area. I was having a rough day, as it was the 40th anniversary of my mother's passing, so I stopped at the old graveyard in the park (just across the way from the Ranger Station) to look around, think and grab a few photographs of the area. . This shot is of Elizabeth "Lizzie" Gould's marker, she died in 1849 at just about 11 years old from a major flood that raged through the area. Her older sister Joanna wrote about the flood in detail which can be read here (https://tinyurl.com/JoannaGouldFlood). Traveling for work the on a long business trip tha Traveling for work the on a long business trip that had me in Rome for a weekend. As such, I absolutely had to visit the Vatican and St. Peter's. Unfortunately tripods were not allowed so I hand shot the bracket for this HDR image of the ceiling and dome of the basilica. . The shots were taken with a Sony A7Rii and a Laowa 15mm manual lens at f/2.8 (+/-2, 0 EV). Edits were done in Aurora HDR 2019 and On1 Photo 2020 (Beta version).
