Mauch Chunk Opera House - Jim Thorpe, PA I've been Mauch Chunk Opera House - Jim Thorpe, PA I've been experimenting with some new wide angle lenses, especially the Laowa 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 I picked up recently, as well as some ideas around Black and White HDR images. I shot this with a Sony A7Rii and the Laowa 10-18mm in three exposures (+/-2,0), ISO 100 f/5.6, editing it in On1 Photo RAW. . Yesterday I went for a drive to a few local spots Yesterday I went for a drive to a few local spots I like to shoot at, including Hickory Run State Park, which has a long history in my #family back to the 1800s when Issac Gould on my father's side of the family owned a number of lumber mills in the area. I was having a rough day, as it was the 40th anniversary of my mother's passing, so I stopped at the old graveyard in the park (just across the way from the Ranger Station) to look around, think and grab a few photographs of the area. . This shot is of Elizabeth "Lizzie" Gould's marker, she died in 1849 at just about 11 years old from a major flood that raged through the area. Her older sister Joanna wrote about the flood in detail which can be read here (https://tinyurl.com/JoannaGouldFlood).
