Sunset over Albrightsville

Sunset photos from 100 Feet over Albrightsville

Still getting the hang of the Phantom 3 – as well as third party applications. Tonight it finally stopped threatening to rain, and the wind died down here in Albrightsville Pennsylvania, so I took out the drone and fired up a new app I grabbed: AutoPilot (iOS: App Store) and got a few flights in before the wind kicked up again.

I grabbed two sets of images, a five exposure bracketed set for an HDR image – and also a 360° set of twelve images for a panoramic image of the horizon. Both sets were imported into Lightroom, and merged using the LR merge photo options. I did post production work in my go-to software – On1 Perfect Photo to clean them up a bit and make the images ‘clearer‘.

I really can’t wait to get some flight time away from home … unfortunately the airspace in VAB where I was last week was just about completely restricted between Norfolk Airport and Oceana Naval Station so …  better luck next trip!
