On the road again …
Tomorrow I’m back on the road again for a 17 day business trip to Australia (Sydney) and New Zealand (Auckland and Christchurch) for some PCI assessment work, and general information security meetings and reviews with folks in our APAC offices.
I do love New Zealand, and Auckland in particular. This is my first trip to Christchurch and the South Island, and I hope that it doesn’t decide to start shaking too much while I’m there. As anyone who reads this blog knows, I have a Phantom 3 Professional drone UAV (unmanned arial vehicle) or now sUAV – Small Unmanned Areal Vehicle and it is coming on the trip with me in hopes of having some down time, good weather and great images.
In order to get the drone down-under safely, I picked up a wheeled hard case
from Amazon which has a tight foam insert specifically cut for the Phantom 3. The bird and all the accessories fit like a glove. Plenty of room for propellers, batteries, lens filter sets, AC Chargers and damn well anything else I can think of. Just as important – I purchased a LugLoc
device to track my bag … not that I think that someone may “lose” my luggage or anything … This way, I can make sure that my case makes it on to the plane in Philadelphia, gets on to the right flight in Dallas, and eventually makes it to Sydney (and the rest of my trip).

For one reason or another, I keep forgetting to upload photos from previous trips to the photo gallery – so I will be uploading new and old shots while on the road.
