Phantom 3 Custom Skin and Dyed Props

Well, the weather outside is crap, so no flying the drone today; besides, I’m feeling like the weather – crap. So what am I to do? Oh! My order of a WWII Nose Art Skin for the Phantom 3 Professional arrived this week – and I spent a bit of time this afternoon getting it all together.

First of all, it is a bit of a pain in the ass to put on – but once I found this video and got the hang of it things went pretty well. I skinned the majority of the bird, 4 batteries, and remote controller, but I left off a couple pieces that I couldn’t for the life of me figure out where they went 🙂

I like the look of this skin with the Red and Blue dyed propellers … now I just need the weather to cooperate …
