Home again … or on my way again?
So, for the past three weeks or so I’ve been on the road in Europe for a work trip Bracknell UK, London, Frankfurt and Paris. Luckily I was able to take my wife along for some of the travels and also my camera and new lenses. I’m home again … or on my way out the door again depending on how you look at it. Next week starts another trip to Oslo, Barcelona and Budapest.
With one exception, I got some good images out of all the places I visited. I am not sure why, but I didn’t find much to do in Frankfurt … in its defense, I was only in town for 36 hours and was in a more ‘commercial’ area of town. I think my new rule is not to expect to find much to shoot in cities that were bombed in WWII. These cities were rebuilt in the 50’s which IMO was an intellectual and artistic dead zone for architecture.
